Kate Spade + Garance Doré

Kate Spade has partnered with French photographer, illustrator, and fashion blogger Garance Doré on a collection of blouses, skirts and dresses for Fall 2012. Doré’s loopy, daydreamy sketches of cocktail fetes and fashion girls were printed on the colorful garments, a perfect complement to Spade’s French gamine-inspired collection.

The fashion industry loves working with the much-adored Doré; her influence among women and aspirational nature make her a perfect collaborator for luxury brands.  Earlier this year, Doré and her boyfriend Scott Schuman of the Sartorialist were tapped by Tiffany & Co. to take a series of photos of couples in love for the brand’s True Love in Pictures campaign, which included an online gallery entitled “What Makes True Love” (seriously, go look at the images – I am even inserting the link twice – you just cannot be cynical about love when looking at them!)

But enough about love… The collection hits stores and katespade.com next month. Below are a few pics from the Kate Spade collection presentation earlier this year during fashion week. Enjoy!
